- Born in Atlanta, Ga. on January 29, 1936. J.C. Harris Elementary, Joe E. Brown H.S., attended Georgia Tech and Iowa State Univ. Served in Georgia Army National Guard, 48th Armored Division, 148th Aviation Battalion, 1958-1964 - 7+years: and Volunteer firefighter, Elderton Volunteer Fire Dept., western Pennsylvania, 1970-1972 - 2-1/2 years. Creator/Host of Bill's Country - Honoring Georgia's Heroes WE MUST NEVER FORGET" ALL THOSE THAT DEFEND AND PROTECT US DAILY, THOSE WHO HAVE GIVEN THEIR ALL;, SO WE NEVER FORGET; Pray for our ilitary and first-responder personnel who defend and protect us, and their families. I've been blessed to be a member of both the military and first-responder families, and have known many of America's finest, and know first-hand of the dangers faced up close.
